Fruit Breeder/Trait Discovery Scientist

Sun World seeks a dynamic breeder to leverage our industry-leading pipeline and create the next generation of innovative products. Director, Information Technology

Sun World is seeking a talented, high energy, hands-on IT professional, reporting to the CFO, to be accountable for the development and oversight of the information technology needed to support Sun World’s processes, and the strategies/objectives set by senior leadership. This includes the hiring and supervision of the organizations IT employees, ensuring all technology systems and applications are adequately supported, and managing the development of and compliance with governance policies required for the security and effectiveness of information technology within the company.

The Sensory Scientist is responsible for constructing a consumer sensory platform supporting product and market development, product launch, and product stewardship by providing sensory and consumer insights for Sun World’s fruit varieties and key markets.

Financial Analyst

You will work closely with the CFO and Executive Leadership Team to support in financial modeling, designing an updated process for reporting on KPIs in a new ERP / BI system, and the annual budgeting process. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the Finance department on a growing team and will require an experienced, independent thinker with a track record of strategic thinking, change management, and attention to detail.

North America Licensing Manager

The Licensing Manager manages the development of licensed table grape, peach, plum, nectarine and apricot production in California’s Coachella and San Joaquin Valleys and in Sonora, Mexico. This entails working closely with the Company’s variety development (fruit breeding) staff as well as those nurseries and producers that are licensed to propagate vines and trees and produce fruit from them.

Licensing Manager Peru

This is an opportunity to join a pioneer in plant variety breeding and one of the first to bring proprietary produce to a global audience. The primary purpose of this role is to manage business growth by identifying opportunities to develop the Peruvian business, developing existing customer relationships, preparing, and managing a strategic growth plan, building relationships with licensees and other stakeholders, and improving business efficiencies and reducing business risk.
