Angeleno (Suplumsix) plum. Picked in California (September), the Angeleno plum finishes the plum season. A heart-shaped plum with a full dark red to purple-blue skin, the light amber flesh is sweet when fully ripe. Harvest begins the third week in California (August) but, because of their excellent keeping qualities, Angelenos are available through Thanksgiving. |
