Farming:
Sun World farms
approximately 16,000
acres of agricultural
crops stretching from
its southernmost citrus
orchards in Blythe,
California to its
northernmost properties
in central California.
Much of the Company's
production lies within
central California's San
Joaquin Valley and
southeastern
California's Coachella
Valley where it farms
permanent crops
including table grapes,
peaches, plums,
nectarines, apricots and
citrus, as well as
annual row crops such as
colored peppers and
seedless watermelon.
Amidst the state's $25
billion agriculture
industry, Sun World is a
leading producer of high
value crops.
Packing:
Much of Sun World's
product line passes
through one of the
Company's produce
packing and handling
facilities. These
facilities arrange for
or provide harvesting,
packing, cooling and
shipping services for
all Sun World
production. They enable
the Company to maximize
the value of its own and
controlled source
production and attract
outside growers by
ensuring quality,
efficiency and service.
Sun World operates four
facilities in
California's Coachella
and San Joaquin Valleys.
