Internship Program

Introduction
Over the years, Sun World has hosted interns from various countries and it remains committed to maintaining an active internship program at its Bakersfield, California Research & Development Center. The objectives of the program are to:

Provide a rich and comprehensive learning experience for those interested in pursuing or further developing a career in the fruit industry.
Build solid relationships with Sun World grower and marketer licensees and to help support the next generation of industry leaders.
Create first-hand awareness among licensees of Sun World’s breeding and technical support programs, as well as its commercial farming and packing operations.

Internship positions are limited to persons associated with Sun World marketer, nursery and grower licensees and applicants must be referred by a qualified Sun World licensee. Interns gain first-hand experience working with Sun World grape and stone fruit breeding programs, commercial testing programs, embryo rescue lab, commercial production managers, and quality assurance personnel.
